COVID-19 6/3/20 Update

June 3, 2020

Residents and Families,

We are very thankful that we continue to have no new COVID positive cases for residents or staff. In Arizona there has been a 20% increase in the amount of people testing positive over the last week alone. We have to remain diligent in our preventative measures to ensure the safety of all of our residents.

We need everyone to do their part. What does that mean? For residents, we want to remind you that although it is tempting to leave the community, we still need to limit your exposure.  Only medically necessary appointments are allowed at this time and other outings will be reviewed on a case by case basis weighing the exposure/risk to our community. All appointments must be cleared through Tristess so that we can communicate directly with Doctor’s offices to share any exposure you may have come in contact with while you were there.

We would like to remind our families that while some “re-opening” has occurred outside of nursing facilities, our residents remain vulnerable and we are under Governor’s orders to remain closed to anyone who is not medically necessary.  Therefore, we would ask that you only come to the community to either drop off items for residents at the front desk Monday-Friday during business hours or for your scheduled window visit with your loved one. Please schedule your visits with Lilian so that you will have enough time and privacy. Please wear a mask and continue to practice social distancing precautions should you encounter any of our residents who may be enjoying some time outdoors or in the lobby.

As always, thank you for your continued support, and please keep all of our residents and staff in your thoughts and prayers.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
