Residents, Families and Partners,
At Rose Court Assisted Living and Memory Care, we want to keep you up-to-date and informed, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following up on our previous notice, we are informing you that, despite our diligent adherence to infection control protocols, one of our residents has tested positive for COVID-19. The resident is in our Memory Care 2 unit and has been in isolation for over a week. All residents are regularly screened for COVID symptoms. We are also continuing to keep all residents in Memory Care 2 under isolation protocols. Given this positive finding of a Memory Care 2 resident, we have taken steps to have all Memory Care 2 residents tested and are awaiting results. We will contact family and other responsible parties with results.
In addition, a second member of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19. That staff member is isolating at home.
Keeping our residents and staff safe during this pandemic continues to be our first priority. We continue to take urgent action to minimize the possible exposure associated with this virus, and all of the interventions referenced in our previous communication remain in place. We are continuing to work closely with the local health department and are following their recommendations.
As always, we will notify residents’ primary physicians and designated family members of any changes in their loved one’s condition, whether potentially related to COVID-19 or not.
Please reach out with questions, concerns, or requests for assistance. We will keep you updated as additional information becomes available.
