Residents and Families:
We want to reiterate our thanks for all of your support and continuing patience as we work through this crisis.
This update will focus on some positive things that have happened in the past week. We are happy to announce there have been no new positive cases for resident or for employees. For those residents diagnosed as COVID positive that remain in our care, none have shown any negative health related signs or symptoms of the virus.
While this is a wonderful thing, we cannot let up on our efforts to keep the virus from spreading or coming into the facility again. Therefore, as per on-going CDC and local health department guidance, our heightened infection control procedures continue (restricted visitation, required isolation upon returning to the facility after coming into contact with persons outside of the building, no communal dining or group activities, etc.)
We continue to monitor all residents, employees and external provider visitors for signs and symptoms of the virus, and as always, we will notify residents’ primary physicians and designated family members of any changes in their loved one’s condition, whether potentially related to COVID-19 or not.
Please reach out with questions, concerns, or requests for assistance. As additional information is learned or things change, we will post and distribute updates.
Thank you for your continued support..
